So, It's been a bit since I posted anything about Bubba Dean...

I've been dealing with IRL stuff. Depression, mostly. But also my wife and I have come to a bit of a conclusion: I might have fibromyalgia. She has an actual diagnosis, and I have a good bit of the same symptoms as her. I had been going to a rheumatologist, but once she ruled out Lupus, she was kinda kicking the can down the road to keep sucking money from my insurance. "Do you hurt today? Yes? Are your joints swollen? No? Ok, well, come back in three months."

I have PTSD, ADHD, and a touch of depression before this. Not conducive to being creative, even if it's just recording 3 hours of gameplay while pretending to be a Redneck Nord from Skyrim that had been dumped into Starfield, then editing it into 3 or 4 videos.

Then I got sick. A sinus infection. Yes, yes, not a huge thing in the grand scheme, and I can hear some of you: That's something that goes away in a few days with antibiotics, why are you making a big deal over this?

This is where the fibro comes back into play. It's an autoimmune disease. It took me longer than a week to get better off of that. And that put me behind on stuff around the house by a week. Which means... I have too much stuff to do around the house.

Then the Free Lanes and Terran Armada update comes out, and I have to wait for mods to update. And then Bethesda puts out an update to fix things they screwed up with the last update. Waiting on mods again.

I thought I would be able to get back to recording this past weekend. No special plans, just a bit of cleaning, the yard work, and possibly record. Most of the mods were all up to date and were working, even.

First, last Tuesday, the plumbing between the main sewer line under my house and the trunk that comes from the kitchen sink, dishwasher, and the washing machine (My plumbing was done by an idiot during a remodel.) clogged up really badly at the junction where everything dumped into the main line. Found a coupon on a website for a plumber: $90 main line cleanout and camera inspection.

Sold!

What do you mean, Monday?

I have no kitchen sink, dishwasher or washing machine. It's Wednesday.

ok, fine. Monday it is.

Monday rolls around after having to use paper plates all weekend, and having poured most of a jug of Liquid Heat down the pipes...

Oh, fun. The dead trees I complained to the property manager for the park I live in two weeks ago... are getting cut down at 11AM... with no warning. Me and the wife are basically nocturnal, getting up at 11:30AM, since she works second shift. Great, fine, whatever, the plumber is gonna be here in an hour, supposedly.

3PM. The plumber shows up. He can't snake out the clog with his small snake, refuses to go under the house, never does the camera inspection... Calls in another plumber with a longer snake that actually reaches the clog. Great, fine, whatever, I got that $90 plus taxes and fees set aside, I'll just say you did the camera inspection if I get the work done for $90.

Wait, what? What do you mean $704? I was quoted $90 on the phone. Ok, yeah, sure, keep snaking I'll just stand here and quietly panic, because I ain't got that.

What do you mean, hydro-jet?

What do you mean, EIGHT HUNDRED? Yeah, no, I ain't got that. Keep going with your damn snake. You keep finding the clog, but you don't wanna actually break it up like you're supposed to.

Oh, you got the clog? Great. Contact your boss, tell them about the $90 I was quoted for the coupon. They want to see it? It was on the websi-

Why is it gone? The coupon was there Wednesday when I called... they even notated it on the work order for my account. What's this about 'what you get quoted is what you pay, no surprise fees', hm, how about that? Well, you better call your boss, toot frigging sweet, because what you tell me in my house to my face is not what I was quoted on the phone last week.

Oh, you'll just say you saw the coupon so you don't have to deal with your boss getting yelled at?

Fine, whatever, take your $150 and get out of my house. See if I ever use your company again.

So you can see why I've not been posting, recording, or even writing anything to keep y'all updated. There's one more mod I have to wait on to get updated before I can keep going with Bubba Dean that my main character doesn't use. Hopefully it gets updated soon.

Until then, please, be patient with me, and maybe just pull up the 24/7 stream I have going on the Twitch Channel and let that run in the background for a bit for noise.
